Now you can color it with whatever pencils and colors you like. Coloring is also a relaxing way to spend time and give your head some rest.

Now write some kind words in the card. You can refer to the current situation or talk about something else, you decide. Just make sure that the text gives a nice feeling to the recipient :)

You can either color both cards or add one blank card to the envelope too. this way the recipient can also color and send a card.

Sending to Strangers/Facilities
Above all, the purpose of the project is to spread kindness and a kind of 'community feeling' especially for those who might feel lonely. Therefore I wanted to emphasize the opportunity to send these cards to facilities to bring joy to people in nursing homes etc.

So how does it work?

First, find out which facilities you want to send cards to or which might need it

You can look for specific kinds of facilities like nursing homes, hospices, hospitals etc. You also can search for projects or facilites online that are tied to a specific topic like a community for People with cancer or some other topic that may be important to you. You can alsocheck with google maps which facilities are close to your house. Maybe you find something that is on your way to work or school. You can even choose to put a card in your (older) neighbors mailbox. You choose whether you wanr to send the card anonymously or if you write your name and maybe contact information in the card. The most important part is: be kind to each other!

It's best if you contact the facility if they would like to get a card/cards

It shouldn't be a problem but it is best to ask and check beforehand. Now you have a facility or person and you have written the text. Now you can put your cards in envelopes, put stamps and the adress on it and sand it with the mailman or put it in the facilites mailbox yourself if its local. If you bring it to a Facility near to you and put it in their mailbox directly you save on postage and you do something for your local community!

You can repeat this as often as you like. Have fun!

You can also post your finished cards on social media with the hashtags
#handmadecoronakindness and #coronacardproject
